MoU Signing Ceremony between a2i Programme and Oxfam

Short Description:

On 18 September 2017, Access to Information Programme of Prime Minister’s Office and Oxfam signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the SSF Briefing Room of Prime Minister’s Office.

Kabir Bin Anwar, Director General (Admin), Prime Minister’s Office and Project Director of a2i Programme and Md. Badi Akhter, Country Director of (Acting) Oxfam in Bangladesh signed  the MoU from their respective organizations. More than fifty participants were attended this MoU Signing Ceremony.

The purpose of this MoU is to ensure skills development at job placement of Five thousand (5000) youths through Apprenticeship. The apprentices will get industry based training 5 days in a week and theoretical training one day in a week. It may be noted that, a2i Programme is now implementing Apprenticeship Program with more than one hundred formal industries at 50 upazilla’s informal workplace.
