a2i Programme of the Prime Minister’s Office and Islamic Foundation Bangladesh signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on January 30, 2017 to work in partnership towards provide technical and vocational training for Alia students and Mosque Imams so that they could get decent jobs (wage/self) in domestic and international markets.
Mr. Kabir Bin Anwar, Director General (Administration) and Project Director of a2i Programme), Shamim Mohammad Afzal, (Director General of the Islamic Foundation Bangladesh); signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organizations.
Md. Lutfor Rahman Sarkar, (Director, Islamic Foundation of Bangladesh); Naimuzzaman Mukta, (Peoples Perspective Specialist, a2i Programme); Asad-Uz-Zaman, (Policy Expert, a2i Programme); and other senior officials from Islamic Foundation Bangladesh and a2i were also present at the ceremony.
In order to implement Vision 2021, a2i aims to empower hundreds of thousands of youths and Mosque Imams to turn around their lives. It’s an opportunity for them to bring their life better position and it helps to increase GDP of Bangladesh.
