Access to Information (a2i) Programme of Prime Minister’s Office and Ministry of Women and Children Affairs jointly organized a grand event for launching Women’s Innovation Camp – 2017. The aim of this Camp is to identify important challenges facing women of all ages and asking for innovative solutions through an open competition.
The occasion was graced by the presence of the Hon’ble State Minister for the Ministry of Women and Children Affairs, Meher Afroze Chumki M.P. as the chief guest. Secretary to the Ministry of the Women and Children Affairs Nasima Begum ndc. and UNDP Bangladesh Country Director Sudipto Mukerjee were present as the special guests in this occasion. The event was chaired by the Director General (Admin) of the Prime Minister’s Office and the Project Director of a2i Programme Kabir Bin Anwar.
For this year’s competition, four of the most important challenges facing by the modern day women have been identified through a roundtable meeting. During the grand event, the 9 winning teams from last year’s Women’s Innovation Camp were awarded.
