With the collaboration of Access to information (a2i) Programme of Prime Minister’s Office and Cabinet Division, on 22 March, 2017 a social media dialogue called “Medical College and Hospital Management: people-oriented health care and Innovation” was organized by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. The session was conducted at the conference room of Prime Minister’s Office. Md. Abul Kalam Azad, Principal Coordinator (SDG Affairs) of Prime Minister’s Office moderated the dialogue session, and Professor Dr. Abul Kalam Azad, Additional Director General and Director of Management Information System (MIS) of Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS); Md. Sirazul Islam, Secretary of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare were present. Besides, directors and principals of Medical College hospitals, representatives, resident physician, resident surgeon, doctors, students, civil surgeon, journalists and senior officials of a2i programme participated in dialogue session. The programme aims to review the progress, problems, solution, challenges and possibilities to implement people oriented healthcare services and innovation in Medical College Hospitals. In this discussion session, authority of Medical College Hospital’s participated to highlight the welfare initiatives to improve the quality of service for citizens.
